Kyle and Lucy both grew up right along the Mississippi River, just 300 miles apart. Kyle attended Colorado University at Boulder, while Lucy made her move to Colorado in 2021 after living and working in her college town, Knoxville. They were set up on a blind date by an ophthalmologist they both work with, Dr. Richheimer. After Lucy heard Kyle’s entire life story from Dr. R in the operating room, Kyle finally reached out to set up a date. They met at Happy Camper for drinks and ended up spending hours together. They went on a few more dates then planned trips for the rest of the year. Life changed for the better! The year was filled with a few trips skiing, the Bahamas, Canada, as well as Fort Lauderdale and Memphis to meet each other's families! Lucy’s dog Sunny immediately fell in love with Kyle. Kyle taught Lucy to mountain bike in the Rockies and trail rides filled the summer fun<3. Their love of adventure flourishes in the Colorado Rockies and they cannot wait to bring the closest of friends and family to enjoy their little slice of mountain heaven for their special day.
